After having returned here like once a month since at least half a decade back, I feel like I should say SOMETHING. Encourage this little hobby, based in solidarity (and I mean 99% of the EPs and singles from the 90s available here doesnt exist out on the damn Free Market EU and USA is about to start WW3 over spreading. And if Id find say this single, on which the centerpiece is the title track (Infamous '97 Mix by Havoc, i.e. Dirty version), in turn PMD's sharpest, most venomous and confident diss against Def Squad and his flegmatic traitor of ex-partner in boom bap. Parrish wouldnt get any money from a ebay transaction. And the single did reach top 40 hot rap/r&b for like a week but it wasnt printed in enough numbers for EC hc, horrorcore. esoteric & conscious hiphop aficionados in the 2020s to get their hands on a decent looking CD or 7'' with inlay and everything. Therefore, a nice rip on mp3 is by far the best option. Ive included It's the P (Infamous '97 Mix) in my 250 hour long default playlist, as well as the uncensored version of the audibly Marotta-engineered and mixed Kool Kat which happens to bless this release as well. So, again, thx for keeping cultural gems like these available.
